I saw a sneak peak of what's being proposed and hopefully it will help activate that block. I can also see it complimenting other activations in the area like The Backyard. Walk from Churchill festival to Backyard to Fan Park to Ice District Plaza.

Is this confirmed? It just seems a little strange given there is already the ice district plaza and that they would be converting this massive space to potentially use once a year if the Oilers make the playoffs.

As of 9:15 this Sunday morning (Oct 30th) they have fully layed a base on the lot and it appears to be a paving machine parked in the middle waiting to go to work.
