I can't imagine a small announcement would make it to the Oilers account.

The 104th street development and the Connect Centre tower are probably happening before stage 2 as originally planned.

Was in the area and saw the big tent going back up. Perhaps it's another event.

Very cryptic, could be an announcement for almost anything. I have no idea what the "tom" means, just an abbreviated version of tomorrow?

NHL Awards is my best guess. It was originally expected that both the 2025 NHL Draft and Awards Show would take place in LA but when the official announcement came out it was only for the Draft with the awards location still up in the air. The only thing thats questionable is you don't really need an arena to do the awards show its probably preferable to have some other type of venue.

If not that I agree with Greenspace that it could be the Ice Castles making a return, we've been hopeful for a return and their usual location at Hawrelak park is currently undergoing renovations (until 2026). Worth noting that ICE Districts outdoor events calendar currently has nothing scheduled for the winter. Again questionable that they would make an announcement this close to their usual opening dates for the castles, maybe for 2025-26?
