Yes, on all those Canada 🇨🇦airlines ✈️websites, whether it be Air Canada, WestJet, Porter, Flair, Lynx or Sunwing. There will be a news release regarding their upcoming Winter 2023 schedules eventually.

Or Google Flights Search, AeroRoutes, OAG & SimpleFlying as examples.

Thank you.

Yeah, Sunwings was there. There are other forums where people are talking about AC and WestJet posting updates to winter schedules, but nothing was on the company websites or AeroRoutes. I have no idea where they were getting their info from, or if they are accurate statements or not.

Yes & good points.

On all those Canada 🇨🇦 airlines✈️websites is where usually the most accurate info about their updated flights schedules is✅.

Google Flights Search it’s already showing WestJet’s (new seasonal) 1x weekly Calgary YYC - Tampa TPA route flying on (Saturdays) for winter 2023 season from December 23-March 9 2024 . Usually that’s where I like looking up the flight routes information from.

AeroRoutes or Simpleflying I find some of updates can be accurate & (some of it not).

Looks like Flair might be cancelling their YEG-YQB route. They cancelled my tickets for mid-Sept and now there is no available flights past Labor Day on their website.

Over before it even has a chance. Wonder how much EIA lost in this subsidized route experiment?

Calm down guys... this was always a seasonal route. It's common to tweak start and end dates for seasonal routes (see the recent westjet update). While it's unfortunate for those booked in September the real test for the market is whether it comes back next summer.

Abbotsford, Mazatlan and Montego Bay are coming over to the mainline from Swoop when the latter folds. However, the Hamilton service is not, which is disappointing.

Quebec City is a great winter destination...what about Carnaval? :)

I went back to the Press Releases and there was no mention of seasonal only nor scheduling except other than stating twice weekly. Possibly there was unquoted babble? I did check the convections site and it shows flights until October. https://www.flightconnections.com/flights-from-edmonton-yeg

Edmonton - Ottawa 1x daily year round on Porter announced today. I think this is the first western route from Ottawa on Porter.

I believe YVR is the first but regardless that is great to see!

What a great fit. I was thinking exactly this the other day too bad I didn’t post. They have the right size plane and the right product as far as on board services are concerned.
