It's a good half hour walk. It's like 2.5 km.

4 times longer if you have kids. Impossible if there is snow with a stroller. Will keep the vast majority of people accessing the Rec Centre by car.

It is really too bad it wasn't considered given the scope of this project. The current terminus won't have a ton of nearby walkable homes whereas the rec centre would not only be a destination but a lot of people are quite close in Secord/Rosenthal.

That's a very neat look at the construction! A little surprise the rinks are so obvious this early on in the progress.

Weber greens to 92 ave is possible. They have space for twinning the road that could easily become tracks instead. Likely would need to elevate at parts though.

This is going to be another beautiful project when completed. At least the City is leading the way with fine architecture for libraries and community centres; that fact should at some point start to embarrass some Edmonton developers.
