In the second image if you zoom in on the front entrance, to me it appears to say "ALT". But you can't see the colourful logo so I might be seeing it wrong. Nevertheless I hope its a Le Germain.

I absolutely LOVE this design.

This is exceptional design for a somewhat confined building site. The structure very elegantly gets "lighter" as it goes from podium to hotel base to condominium and the visual break between hotel and condominium is a well-defined and articulate separation that adds interest to all sides. Very exciting! Bonus -- some of the continuity-busting surface parking is gone!

Groupe Germain Hotels plans to manage 156 hotel units under its Alt+ banner. Urban Capital, a Toronto-based developer, would deliver the 136 residential units of the building.

So if I'm correct, this will be the first Alt+ Hotel outside of Montreal (Brossard). Feels nice to be a bit exclusive!!
