Is there a reason why a chunk of the tower is missing on image 4/6?

It’s looking very good from a street perspective :) definitely a welcome addition to the skyline

@Platinum107 Weird artifact of the PDF I think. It's an early draft still.

I really like this project, but my one suggestion for the developers would be to push the tower back further from the street, and set it back a bit more from the GWS building to better protect the ghost sign and preserve views of it from the street.

@Jdub Sorry, which hearing is that? Only one I know of that's upcoming is the EDC presentation which is still today.

Welcome to the forum!
I thought the one today was for approval of rezoning but I guess it's just the EDC... btw- This is John from the Blue Plate Diner. Just trying to get a handle on what our future is going to look like.

@Jdub Oh, hey John! I really hope you guys are able to find an arrangement, I love Blue Plate and hope it has a future downtown

Do you think you be attending the EDC presentation? It is open to the public (though for observation only, no input). Third Floor, Edmonton Tower (conference centre). I will be there.

Thanks for loving us!
TBH - we're not sure. Being close to the arena has more challenges for a restaurant like ours than it has benefits.
We're working with a real estate agent to find us something though. We'll keep you all posted.
I don't think I'll make it to the presentation. I'll be working the floor most of the day.

Citizens are invited to a drop-in engagement session to learn more about the proposed rezoning and development of a high-rise mixed use tower along 104 Street north of Jasper Avenue in the Downtown neighbourhood.

Date: Tuesday February 26, 2019
Time: 6-8pm
Location: First Presbyterian Church, 10025 105 Street NW, Edmonton, AB

Feedback will be summarized in a report to City Council when the proposed rezoning goes to Public Hearing for a decision.
