A 3-2 L against a historic season is not bad I guess, but this was a VERY winnable game for Edmonton and reminded me how wide the gap is between us and the top 4-5 teams.

*I suppose credit where credit is due with the PK and some blocked shots.

56, 13 - I just don't know what to say or do with these two anymore

5 gave up on a puck, cannot clear a zone, multiple giveaways

73 undisciplined garbage at a crucial time

29 had an off night

74 kept them in it and played quite well overall

97 wasted no time getting down that tunnel...

What an effort by the Oil tonight.

Connor kicking things off, building a lead and the rest of the team actually supporting him.

RNH with the punch of the year!

We needed that.
The Oilers make me crazy. We can go toe to toe with two of the best teams in the league, including a VERY solid win against Toronto (Monday against Boston was not a bad game at all from the boys), and lose to the absolute worst one in all three encounters.

If we played 70% or what we did today, on 90% of the games, we'd be fighting Boston for the top spot on the league.

Generally speaking the Oilers work ethic and drive is one of the worst in the league and has been for what... 10-12-15yrs?
