I remember that Sohi mentioned the HAF goal of 35,443 units was a high and lofty goal. To see that we're already 42% of the way there, and the year isn't over is insane tbh.

Oversupply already exists across rural Canada. Everyone is moving to metropolitan areas because basic services are significantly more limited in small communities. See medical care, internet connection, access to public facilities, etcPopulation growth is about to collapse. This could easily mean oversupply in many markets soon.
I just checked the average of also condo listings in Edmonton, it's currently at an average of 263k and a median of 209k. YoY from earlier this month was 17%.Recent update from a realtor says that condos are up 15.4% y/y to $194k.
