It may be closed now, but I find it interesting that Grand Villa's sister casino in WEM has a poker room. Do they really want the Grand Villa to fail?
I didn’t even know PBR was happening until this morning… I was shockedHas there been any hype or attention for PBR?
What about 'Novemberfest' in ICE?
Had some photos sent around of the crowd at PBR. Extremely low attendance it seems.Has there been any hype or attention for PBR?

It's been on the news a few times. A more pertinent question is who pays for the advertising/marketing for that event - PBR or OEG? If it's the PBR then I would say the lack of 'advertising' is the result of budget.Has there been any hype or attention for PBR?

The last seven All-Star Games have all been in Florida, Nevada, Missouri, California and Tennessee, fueling speculation that the NHL and its players prefer the event be held in warmer climates, but Bettman pushed back against that.
"What's wrong with coming up here [to Edmonton] in January? This is a place where hockey matters. Our players love to be in places where hockey matters and I don't see it to be an issue at all in terms of bringing an All-Star Game here," he said.
