I think there is definitely a comparison. I'd say the rinks in Toronto, Minnesota, Los Angeles (x2), and Pittsburgh all are quite easily a superior design to the rink in Edmonton. I guess it depends on what you mean by design perspective though, and obviously is just an opinion.^^^^ There is no comparison -- Edmonton has the top arena building from a design perspective in the world! I hope that the Phase II by Katz and company respects that advantage.

Now called Intuit Dome ... and $1.8 Billion of private funding to complete and not yet built but ground breaking was held.The only one that will compete -- and it is sport specific designed for NBA's L.A. Clippers -- is not build yet...
