Heritage Festival moving to Borden Park and Exhibition Lands
With Hawrelak Park closing for a long-term rehabilitation project, the Edmonton Heritage Festival announced the new three-year temporary site that will be used for the annual August long-weekend celebration.

Sounds like the people that brought us the Canadian Cycling Championships and the PTO triathlon are back next year. The PTO swim will be using the river. (Should be interesting if we have a high flow year). They also mentioned they are bidding for the World Multi sport championships in 25-26. That would bring in about 8000 athletes over 10 days.

Went to the Ukrainian festival at Borden Park last night. Beautiful evening and good crowd there. A steady stream of dancers and singers entertaining on the main stage, good perogies, good beer and a good selection of food vendors and art/clothing vendors at the marketplace. Continues today. Would highly recommend.
