I don't agree with everything on Linda's list (the Lingnan is a hard no for me) but she's compiled a list of things to try at the Taste of Edmonton

I see the law firm of McLennan Ross has sponsored the stage -- Rod McLennan has been a friend for years -- our firm, Powell-Blackburn Design Ltd. developed his offices on 123rd street w-a-a-a-y back in the 1970s. Exceptional attorney and now his group has been awarded Law Firm of the Year (2023).

Why don't you like the Lingnan?

Why don't you like the Lingnan?

I outgrew westernized honkified Chinese food a very long time ago.

Taste of Edmonton ends this weekend. So far I've enjoyed the Lobster Roll from Blower & Grafton, Smoked Beef Slider from Transit Smokehouse, Brisket Cheese Bread Sammich from Pampa, Slider from Canadian Icehouse, Pulled Pork Steamed Bun and Lemongrass Skewer from Hoang Long, Samosa from Curry N Hurry, Sesame Beef and Rice from Japanese Village, Ebi Katsu from Shojo Izakaya, Boneless Wings from Banquet, Steak Bites from Canadian Brewhouse, Tiramisu from Italian Bakery and The Wolf by Sea Change. Will be back later today or tomorrow.

Oufff not even half of the stampede attendance. Also stampede attendance was up from last year, vs kdays being substantially lower. Safety concerns given the dozens of fights recorded? I attended yesterday from 4pm- 8pm with my little one.. I thought everything was alright but then again, I probably left before the more interesting crowds show up.
