@Daveography I'm sure that he is a nice person, and so are most people who are concerned about these towers. But in my opinion, the preexisting and regulations that are set out are important, but sometimes (as demonstrated by lots of new development in the city) nice things doing always exactly follow the cold hard rules. Like tell me, what actually notable negative consequences are gonna come from these two towers being built? I can't see any, that's for sure ?

Might be a bit before we see anything here.

^ I am sure that they will have a 6-month notice "demolition clause" in their lease agreement. "Lets make some green while the ground is covered with white and the City and its turtle-like expeditiousness is making me see red -- might as well stay in the black until we reach a blue-sky date."

@Thermalux just this - for now.

@Thermalux are you asking "what is the chancey that we will see a Clancey in the nearness of futures?"
? I saw a twitter thread about it sometime before xmas but then haven't heard much ever since. I would imagine most projects are on hold for a while (just my general thoughts as I work through some of the tendering phase)

The long-lost EDC minutes are finally online.
