For what it's worth, we used 1.02 GJ of natural gas on our latest gas bill (we still have a gas range and a gas fired instant hot water heater).
EPCOR charged an additional $11.17 administration fee plus $1.75 in rate riders, a $10.57 franchise fee for the city, $1.06 in variable delivery charges and $28.80 in fixed delivery charges plus $2.11 in GST.
The total bill came to $56.91.
To save me the trouble, EPCOR breaks that down for me as 21% for Direct Energy charges, 56% for Distributor charges and 23% for Taxes and Government charges.

Seems like political podcasts are becoming the new source of "news"... a kind of "good" if they support my entrenched views, "bad" if they don't. It certainly is an interesting phenomenon but I can't see it being an across-the-board positive unless one is brave enough to listen to both sides.

So another trans mass shooting - this one down in Rhode Island. Did you see pictures of this guy? In BC he would be allowed to go in women's changing rooms and other safe spaces and according to most lefties on this forum that is perfectly fine and reasonable. But I get called out for being a crazy. Too funny. The boy in BC who murdered those innocent people started "transitioning" when he was 12 years old!! So kids can't vote, buy booze etc - in some places in lefty Europe they are thinking about banning social media for kids below 16 years old - but apparently its perfectly fine for kids 12 years old to make life changing biologically altering decisions to take gender blockers and have other procedures done because they spend too much time getting bad information and think the solution to all their problems is to change their gender. But many on this forum say I'm the crazy one for raising alarms over these types of issues. JK Rowling is right, the CASS report is right, the UCP is right and the avalanche of class action lawsuits against gender affirmation doctors and lefty school counselors has just begun. Thank god.

This pissed me off.....it's like you or me going into a bar and picking a fight with the biggest guy and getting our face(s) beaten in and then complaining about how long my face surgery is going to take....this B!TCH broke her own leg on her own accord and is now "complaining" about surgery wait times...I hope her broken leg goes gang green and has to be "sawed" off....

Not planned, but took the “inherent” risk of skiing. So for all of us that haven’t self inflicted injuries upon ourselves, we’re supposed to take a backseat to those that do? Explain how much more important these people are compared to us….
