The cladding is promising and I love the depth created on the upper floors. It loses points for each step.

In an unrelated note, I was bored and started trying to recall older proposals ... any idea if this project is still happening?
Seems to have received lots of negative feedback, as it's VERY close and potentially obstructive to the Calgary Tower.
 
Building demolished at NW corner of 17 Avenue SW and 5 Street. This is for that low-rise project.

Yes it's gone and this one was a super quick demolition I could almost swear that a couple of days ago the building was was still there and intact.

Pictures are not the best, may go for a walk in that area today again and take some better pictures.

We tore a house down in 2011, took 11 minutes for the entire structure to be reduced to a pile of rubble. Pretty amazing really.
