Both are just finishing. The plan for the empty lot on the corner was Stonebriar Place with Analog Coffee. Architecture by Mckinley Burkart. Not sure when construction will start.

My guess is Stonebriar Place is going ahead never, they are on the run from creditors and suppliers that they have not paid.

It is an interesting proposal that they have had some potential renderings of for a couple years now. I really liked the one that was more of a design exercise than an actually feasible design, had a big round courtyard thing in the middle. The project timeline they have on their website won't hold, there are no signs that Metro Ford will be shutting its doors anytime soon as it is currently undergoing renovations.

We should probably start a thread for the YWCA site. Here are pics from today.

Will be a great amenity, but I'd have to say the quality of the design for the East Village Riverwalk is miles apart from the design of this area. I should wait until it's complete for a valid opinion, but the basic concrete striping and random grey block patterns on the ped pathway aren't very creative or of high quality design (IMO). It feels 90s era.

One picture of the sloth contracted Holiday Inn construction. The last of the cladding is going up and is looking to be (wait for it) grey! They planted dead trees and have been paving more since this was taken - I'm guessing they are looking to open to take advantage of the XMas party season, but who knows it could be summer next year before it opens:

The retail strip mall has walls just starting late this week. Cadillac dealer is now a big hole. The professional center has stopped construction at the big hole stage - same as the last photos I posted of it. Ferrari dealer is coming along, and the car wash is nearly done. I will have to walk up there for some photos, as those two buildings are a bit more interesting. Someday when work time allows!

I saw this hotel a week ago and was wondering trying to remember when they first started building it. It seems like it's forever.

I've just past 2 years working from Blackfoot Point. That hotel started construction shortly after I started working down there. The Porsche dealer started construction around the spring of '16 and has been open for a year now.

Here are some pics of the new Horizon Mall from the weekend.

Thanks Ferreth, so it's not just me then, it really is taking a long time.
