So I've heard a few rumours that Rndsqr have relocated to Winnipeg, anyone have any info on that?
Could be. Their name kinda took a beating with the larger projects, Courtyard 33, the Inglewood project, Grow, etc..
Would be a chance for a fresh break and then 3 years from now come back to Calgary as a new company, but run by the same people.

I don't think so, they just finished a large project in Winnipeg though, called the Bend.

Closer to home they are still pulling off a few courtyard/townhome things, most recently in Richmond near the old Children's Hospital. Got a few more small ones in the pipe I think.

Pen Ventures Inglewood barn site. Looks like they are getting ready to pour the footings.

Humpy Hollow taking a lot longer than expected, but looking like it’s gonna turn out nice.

I used to love going to the model train shop that was in that building back when I was a kid. Is there a new development planned for that location?
I hope there's something planned. As shabby as those buildings were they were some of the very few street-side retail on Macleod trail.

It looks like the adult video store to the north just got a coat of paint, so maybe that one building will stay standing.

Also, demolition happening at the NW corner of Macleod and 50th Ave. The adult video store is still standing for now, but the building to the south is gone.

Interesting there was a house behind that building that was also torn down, which faced out onto sort of an imaginary back alley that went east to west in front of it
built at the same time as the commercial building

I found this - https://pub-calgary.escribemeetings.com/filestream.ashx?DocumentId=131713

The owner of 5001 Macleod Trail (the adult video store) wanted alley access, so bought a strip of land (300 sq. ft) from 5011 Macleod Trail (the building that was just torn down). Seems to be part of the "backyard" of the oddly placed house that was just torn town.

Also, the DMAP has this house labeled as Patterson Block.

I love looking at the metal racking inside the SW unit, and the boxes of stuff stacked on them. So dynamic, such energy.
