I can't imagine a steak is bigger than a square foot, so as long as they're not serving 3,700 steaks at a time it can work.

I'm still waiting for Carne Asada to take over the vacant Subway space.
The owner said this is a definite possibility once they have the financing in place.

Way too small for a keg. They should be in the ice district in the stantec podium.
The rumour mill I picked up awhile ago but went cold is it’s a known name, but I couldn’t get whether that meant a chain or just someone known in the community. Can’t fathom it being sabor with them doing the union bank thing. In fact I’m getting a bit worried about them over extending, them collapsing would be a huge loss.
Anyways it’s a great space and hopefully it’s something that can thrive there.

Yeah, I think the next few years will tell us if they can manage such a rapid expansion without compromising on quality.

Seoul Fried Chicken for some tenders, jalapeño corn bread and caesar.
Opted OG with BBQ sauce.
Tasty for sure, but I wanted a bit more salt/pepper in the batter/brine to really make it shine.

Dined at 3 breakfast eateries on 3 different weekends.
3 weekends ago, I was at Brunch Glory on Jasper Ave and 117 St. There were barely any patrons, but that's likely due to the Jasper Ave construction. My florentine benny was good, although nothing write home about. The server was nice. I'll return sometime after construction is finished - but before I do, I want them to fix their website.
2 weekends ago, I made my way to Haps Hungry House on Stony Plain Road and 161 St. It's a 40-year-old local diner with delicious food, good hot coffee, friendly staff and a bill that won't break the bank.
This past weekend, I had breakfast at Albert's on 124 St and 106 Ave. What can I say - it's a local icon, a classic old-school diner since 1959! Still the same great food, coffee and staff as before that will keep me coming back.

^ Haps stan here. It's a jewel in a sea of shit on SPR. Also a fan of that 124th Alberts. Place is like stepping into a time machine.
