Looks like downtown is slowly merging with Mission and East Village should be fully attached with no "skyline cavity" in a few years. Damn Calgary downtown and CBD is gonna look big in like 5 years.

This photo perfectly portrays the density issue with Calgary downtown. Literally so much huge parking lots all over northern downtown and instead of building there, we keep tearing down buildings in other places instead. Nice pictures by the way, they look great. How did you even manage to take them like that.
The northwest is starting to get it's own version of a skyline. Once Brio and the Hub are built, it's going to be noticeable.
And hopefully Brentwood Commons.
