Any guesses on the architect. 😉 Easy money!

🤮

They have an opportunity to create a little urban oasis, but instead hired RLA to build just the worse thing possible.

According to Ottawa/R Sandbox VR will be opening Dec 19 right next to History.

Nice to have new entertainment options downtown, but $60-$65 per person per half hour though.

Holding on hope that one day the Place de Ville cinémas reopen and the rest of the podium building is converted to RecRoom.

VR is so stupid. I visited one, by the time you figure out the controls it's game over. There is barely any social component to it, and at this price there will be close to zero returning customers. Doomed to fail.

I wish there was a place to play social darts. I went to Flight Club in Chicago with a group and it was a blast. The scoring is done by a computer, there are many games to play, you just select the game and take turns throwing darts with friends sipping beer. Lots of fun. And it's affordable too, $15 per person for 90 minutes in Chicago downtown. Can easily become a weekly night out for a group of friends. There are also leagues and tournaments.

Do we have a thread for the towers near the Gloucester Centre, Frontier?

They want to move parking to make way for Phase 3, and it seems they are revisiting the overall plan for more towers.

2016 vs now.

I have no clue if this means anything at all, or if i’m making a fool of myself but I walk down Bronson decently often and can’t recall seeing a sign or traffic cones.

The land is still for sale last I checked though. So who knows.
