The whistling is annoying im sure but the solution is not less trains, it's for them to lobby for a whistle exception.

Also the over'underpass work will help with whistles.

Yes, all the whistling is gone in Markham, except for irregular freight trains.

Yes, all the whistling is gone in Markham, except for irregular freight trains.

The freight trains are subject to the same whistling restrictions as the GO trains.

I think this is another sign that the onCorr RFP is closing soon:

Closing? Metrolinx hasn't finished the EA's or posted the 3+ onCorr contracts for bid yet. Nobody is submitting a bid until they know what it is they're bidding on.

The 2022 tender date for Ontario Line North, which includes the East Harbour GO station, makes me think Metrolinx is still a long way from knowing what they need to put those tenders out.

A Union Corridor/Station bid would be great to see in the next 6 months though; the timeline constraints in that section are probably the most challenging to manage.
