I thought this is the kind of building many people on this forum would like. It's a glass box with an interesting roof element and some interesting treatment of the lower two levels with a protruding glass box.

I agree, but still can't understand why they kept the old brick walls (except for City perrmit reasons) and why the hell it took so long.

So, now that this ho-hum building is pretty much done, doesn't this mean that something is going to happen across the street where Hakeem is now? I thought I recalled this being a two-parter.

Yeah, blows Torch out of the water. I think it works well... the blend of old brick and new glass.

Rubbish. The new and old brick is badly matched, and it's surmounted by 1970s mirror glass. Yeuchh.
