Marble panels coming off Holt Renfrew today.

I wonder what will happen to all that tile: the reverse side will likely not be pollution-stained, and even the outside-facing sides could likely be refinished as 'new'. Maybe people will soon be redecorating their shower stalls with Holts marble?

I have a chunk of the old FCP cladding sitting on my desk that they gave out in the lobby for free when they were recladding it.

As nice as the new cladding looks in renders, I feel like this is a huge missed opportunity to add some upper storey windows here!

Shesh, I walked by last night & it was all covered in tarp, who knew what was really going on behind there! A line of windows higher up, maybe, I really like the unbroken material that will be installed.
Now if only this could be done to The Bay at Yonge & Bloor, though it's much taller than Holt's.
