Google Earth measures that at around 286 metres - with lines up with Google Earth generally measuring a little bit above actual height.I've just learned that upon completion, O&Y registered the building with Guinness as 'the tallest bank building in the world', for which I assume they would have had to supply some documentation. The record was set at 935 feet or 284.9m. It is unclear from what and to what Guinness measured / measures that record though.

I would say that it's pretty safe to say actual height is 291m to mechanical penthouse.
