The city definitely has to start doing something, no more studies, get off their butts and fix the LRT problems. Anti loitering bylaw at LRT stations would be a nice start.

The fact that the EPS Union President is tweeting this instead of the actual EPS account is very suspect. Elliot loves drumming up fear to get more funding for the EPS.

Has ETS ever spoken seriously about faregates? I know a lot of people suggest it but it doesn't seem like it's even on the table as an option.

People forget that the previous council had put in place multiple years of very low tax increases or in some cases zeros. At some point, things break. Seems pretty obvious that a lot of City departments are way overstretched. You have dirt, sand and filth on the streets well into May, you have a complete absence of police where they are needed, all the affordable housing is on wait list, City doesn't really cut grass properly or maintain landscaping anymore, the list goes on.
