Mayor Tory has apparently won humanitarian award given annually by Beth Sholom Synagogue. He'll speak at $400-plate dinner tomorrow night.
Our mayor won an award? He wasn't drunk at the event?

If I hear any gun shots or see any crimes in progress I'm calling the press, someone else can 911 it. Since the cops went off radio communications press reporting of crime seems to have dwindled to whatever the cops choose to throw out to them.
http://www.torontosun.com/2015/11/18/tory-scores-high-approval-rating-in-pollA Forum Research poll provided exclusively to the Toronto Sun on Wednesday found 77% of those polled approve of Tory’s tenure — the highest it has ever been since he was elected late last year. Overall, just 23% disapprove of the job Tory is doing as mayor.
According to the poll, 92% of Tory voters in the last election approve of the job he is doing so far but he also has the approval of 59% of those who voted for Doug Ford and 73% of those polled who said they voted for Olivia Chow.
