Given the lack of demand for office space, why don't they bring Vista 33 back with an observation area, restaurant and event centre for weddings, corp gatherings etc?

One would think that Stantec Tower, western Canada's tallest skyscraper, would have a public observation deck c/w admission fees that is similar to the Calgary Tower. Yet another missed opportunity (and there's a long line of that in this city).

People would probably be more interested in the view from one of the taller buildings than this, of which there are now several. But unfortunately, none have a public space at the top level.

Having toured the top of Stantec, I'm not sure it's the most appealing for a venue. Makes everything seem small and flat. Top of the stantec office portion might be good tho - still high enough, but low enough to be able to admire other towers and see the details of the river valley.

The top of the 30th at Stantec for ready for a restaurant. Some of the required infrastructure is there.
