It is in a horrible state of repair -- lots of structural failures. I am guessing that it is currently condemned from an occupancy standpoint. It would be great to see it rebuilt as an upscale pub/eatery with a front-facing patio added from the Tanglewood collection -- https://tanglewoodconservatories.com -- Excellent find! Skyrise investors? Only 3 blocks (1 long 2 short) from an LRT Station and in an area that is reasonably dense development-wise.
I saw it and was wondering, I had asked someone in the area a month or so ago and they said yes it was going to be repaired/rebuilt for something like that, but there were no other details. Hopefully that happens.

Here's a favorite of mine, along 114 St in Wîhkwêntôwin. What I wouldn't give for a couple dozen more of these around the city!

Beljan's Ritchie Market in the old Certified Radio space on Whyte looks like it'll be ready by summer. Went by today, and it has seen some substantial transformation, a lot more glass added.

On the contrary….the value for Firehouse subs…$14 for a large seems high….but for only $2 more than a Way-less-than-average Subway sandwich….its a bargain…..the meat is already 2.5X more than Subway without having to pay “extra” for it

Nope, not Canadian - US based but employees Canadian citizens - 10X better than Jerrod's favorite subs.
