Not sure if there's a thread on it, some progress on the lot behind Hardcore Bikes at 100 St and 83 Ave.

Hopefully we'll see something on the old Shell station lot nearby and/or the lot directly to the left of Hardcore in the near future. Good access to Happy Beer Street with the new 100 St bike lane, and Farmers' Market area.No thread for this one.

I thought they may want to build something bigger given the proximity to Whyte and RM zoning, but still an improvement over the old SFH that was there before and will bring more people to the area.
They were inspired by Vampire Weekend: "I see a mansard roof through the trees..."Yikes! Mansard-over-the-top. Please insist on higher design standards dear Edmonton.
I would've thought so too—but at the same time I'm kind of relieved because so much of the multi-family going up in Strathcona and Garneau is just terrible. Hoping this one is okay...No thread for this one.

Nothing exciting, but just in case anyone was wondering what was being built in the empty lot across the street from McK/Belgravia LRT Station.
Crap........originally it was that apartment building with massively peaked roof lines...oh well...seems like a large tract for just a mere 4-plex.View attachment 696179

And thankful to not have to look at that crudely spraypainted "HOUSE FOR SALE" sign he had prominently displayed in the front yard.I'm just glad the previous house is finally gone!
The guy owned one of those junk cleanup services, and he was hoarding all kinds of stuff he'd picked up in about 10 garden sheds on the property. He was also renting the house out by the room, and it was "furnished" with very sketchy looking furniture, I suspect also from his junk pickup business..![]()
Are you thinking of the site on the SE corner of 114 Street and 76 Ave?Crap........originally it was that apartment building with massively peaked roof lines...oh well...seems like a large tract for just a mere 4-plex.
Thats a pretty dated design. Get ride of the top and it will be ok.Might look like Ed Gooch, but its by Start Architecture and they do a lot of institutional design. The guts of the building are definitely closer to what you would see in long term care facilities. There are actually four towers, similar to the ones you see in the picture you posted. Still, definitely odd exterior design. It should be a fairly big development, though.

That's the one......so this isn't that lot?
**EDIT** - I read @fromyeg's post wrong. I inadvertently misinterpreted it as "across the street" from Ian's project, rather than the station...my bad...
