Now - 412 Danforth - has the numbering changed in the interim? - by how much?

I stand corrected adma. 1980 it is. Doing very well Mustapha , thanks for asking. Very busy with life and trying to add every photo ever made over at Vintage Toronto. I get lost every time I pop over to Urban Toronto with all the new topics. I really have to get off the computer and get out and put together some more Then & Now's. How is life going for Mustapha ?

I'm good brewster; was looking over your past contributions in some of the other threads...

The semi's to the right are on Woodycrest according to the 1913 Goads map Goldie so approximately 760 Danforth now.

Thanks for that re-numbering correction brewster.
Here's the correct view showing No. 760 (now)
and the houses that are visible in the background on Woodycrest.

This relates to nothing in this thread beyond the context of "Then". My Granddaughter, all of 5, wandered into my computer room while I was on this site last week. She wanted to know why the world wasn't in colour in "the olden days".

Made me smile, thought I would pass it on.

It's a decent looking Modern school. Note the scattered planting of trees--they really wanted the original projects to seem like they were carefully inserted into a park.

One of the great spaces in Toronto - to me - is the great hall in our Union Station. This ceiling puts me in a contemplative mood; thinking of all those who've passed underneath it; yada yada... :)

Unlike the ceilings in some of our grander churches; this one can be enjoyed nonsecularily.

Then. Sometime soon after its opening in 1927. Looking E.

Dec. 5, 2014. The Christmas Market ends today, Sunday. My Now pic was shot looking SW.
