I guess this is a personal reaction, more than anything else, but many these views look strangely familiar, despite the fact that I have never set foot in Monaco. Perhaps it is the backdrop to films that I have viewed over the years - don't know.

Then there are those unexpected elements like the Japanese Garden and the way your photographic angle captured it, I thought it was a slip up and that this was from a Far-Eastern trip.

The Hong Kong of Europe.
33,000 permanent inhabitants (thousands more are wealthy Northern Europeans or Arabs who only spent a part of the year there) squeezed into a tiny strip of land by the sea that merely encompasses 2 square kilometers.
Love the city, I visited it 4 times- one of my fav places in Europe.
