How I love the City of Toronto Archives! Here's 'Various North York Views : Used for various pulications.' (their typo) including:

And how about the Mississippi Belle nightclub, which was "a nightclub located on the south-east corner of Don Mills Road and Eglinton Avenue East, in the Independant Order of Forestors. Building is now condominium residences."

The Cherries Jubilee pic is backwards.

The '65 Cadillac Fleetwood was, with it's plate number, from Culliton's Auto Livery.

The Royce, Silver Cloud III more than likely belonged to Vic Secrett, a jeweller + main floor tenant of the PP.

Great finds! So the Park Plaza - the north building, is it the same building that currently stands on that location (albeit with a renovation)?

Those old street photos with lots of everyday people are too rare. I like that it was taken on a snowy winter day too, rather than a perfect sunny day.

Renders back then look no less realistic than they do today!! At least there were only a few trees back then rather than the massive urban jungles of today.
