Read Harari on digital totalitarianism. It’s not conspiracy theory. It’s our present reality. We are using algorithms and data to direct behaviour based on whatever metrics our government feeds into the system. You can be tracked and are tracked for your medical behaviour and when you leave the country. Any criteria can be added to the digital passport that you’re required to carry to enjoy basic freedoms. It’s not even a slippery slope. You are living under de facto totalitarianism.

But it is a slippery slope. That is, if you understand what the y'know, actual definition of a slippery slope argument is.

It’s unconstitutional.

And yet, the bodies who hold literal court over enforcing and interpreting the constitution say otherwise.

Hold up Canada! Gibsonm says it's unconstitutional!

However, you personally probably haven’t felt the implications yet. You will when you travel. You might if you’re forced to get your young kids vaccinated and boosted without regard to their unique health profiles. None of this is mysterious. Be careful what you wish for. Covid isn’t going away no matter how many restrictions and mandates are imposed, but there is no sunset clause and no guarantee that restrictions and mandates will be lifted. Again, earlier in the pandemic there were arguably good reasons for temporary emergency measures. Our constitution is there to ensure the constant review and justification of such measures. Quite simply, mandates, restrictions, and vaccine passports are no longer justified, if they ever were.
Took long enough to show your full conspiracy colours.

What have I said that isn’t clear as day?

Yeah these are a bunch of wannabe truckers and the truckers that are there, are independent non union drivers. They hate unions, yet are the first ones to complain about working conditions and lousy pay.

The rest of the 90% Canadian truckers who are vaccinated, are out there hauling goods on the roads today, supporting the economy and getting us the things that we need.

As we hear any time BLM or Anti-fascists protest anything…

Real people have jobs to go to and work to do! They must be paid protesters!

Y'know, it almost seems like a trumped up protest organized by known islamophobes to take place in front of Parliament Hill on a Saturday when no politicians are in town, might not actually be so much about getting the attention of politicians over mandates. :O

Today is the recognized as the official first national day of remembrance of the Quebec Mosque Attack. Now, it's getting all of this press for a bunch of indignant, self important white men.
