Yes the price is in litter in euro by liter, over 60% of the price is taxes. Honesly I don't drive so I don't know so much about it. :)

The metro line in the pic 596 is the line 14, the latest metro line opened in 1998 (Olympiade the last station of this line opened in 2007). The line 14 is driverless. The project was called Meteor (Metro Est Ouest Rapid) but actually the project is not over and this line only serve the center. With 9 stations this line is used by 460,000 passengers every workday.

The metro line in the pic 608 is the line 8 at Creteil Prefecture station, it is the furthest station from Paris center in the metro system (but it is always in the dense core). In 2010 the extention to Creteil Parc des Sport will open.

The red stone building are very frequent in Paris, infact the grey stone Haussmannian building are only in the center.
In an otherway rowhouses even quite common are less frequent.

MK-Thanks for the reply-More questions for you...

MK: In your latest pics I would like to know about these:
#623-RER Line? #634-Rail line on bridge? #635-La Defense Metro-Line?
#638-Belleville-Metro Line? #646-Which Metro Line?
#648-this pic has a real European look to me... #658-RER Line?
Another thing-I would like to know what exactly is a Arrondissement in the Paris area-did I spell it correctly? I read it in a good geographic book I have on the Paris area....In closing-this photo tour only gets better...LI MIKE

The last picture show a projection on the Gare du Nord (10th arrondissment) facade during the nuit blanche.
