Paris (and its suburbs) grow faster than many people think, about 100,000 new inhabitants every years.
Since Paris has a negative migration rate with the province, so the growth is due at Paris high birth rate and immigration.
MK: Thanks for the reply for the previous Paris pics! I would like to get info on these new pics: #763-which METRO line? #771-METRO elevated structure on left-which line? #773-which Tram line is this?
I want to mention that the book I have is: The Paris METRO Handbook by Brian Hardy - 1988 - Capital Transport Press. It a a good English-language overview of the Paris METRO system from the late 80s era. LI MIKE

The Paris METRO handbook from 1988, so you see the MA and MP55 trains, withdrawn in 1990's. You also see the train in blue (and white for the MF77).
I saw few blue train in 1996, my oldest memory about Paris, but most were already green. (I was born in 1990 and I only live in Paris since 2002)
Since 1988, one line was opened and the line 1 and 13 were extended. Paris metro still grow.
Actually there is three extention u/c
Line 8 to Creteil Parc des Sports
Line 4 to Mairie de Montrouge
Line 12 to Mairie d'Aubervilliers
We also have a metro ring line in project (Metropherique or Arc Express), located in the inner suburbs, it would link most metro and RER lines.
About Paris METRO handbook, the latest is from 1999, so I think that a new one will be released in 2010.
