MK: Again more neat pics of Paris! I was going to post a long list of questions and observations yesterday on many of the more then 100 pics that you have posted since I last asked about these pics months ago-I wanted to mention that I have NOT forgotten about these pics as they have become one of the better picture groups in this website-but after spending more then an hour taking notes and then re-typing those notes into a post something went wrong yesterday 7/11 and for some reason
this site thought I was trying to log in twice and in that fray the post I had typed out was lost-VERY frustrating after working so hard to make sure that all of what I had taken down was clear and correct to send.
The only good thing is that I still have all those notes as is-but no time for now to type them back into a post until...

Yeh, it is very frustating, it happened many time to me.
I hate when I lost a very message that take hours to write.

MK: Again there is no time for a long post but you might like this find last week concerning Paris...
At a book sale I picked up a Michelin Guide to Paris dated 1976 (English edition) - I like the detail and maps that they have and they are a good overview of places to a traveler.
I like them enough that I usually purchase them if I can use it in some manner and if the price is reasonable - in this case just one US dollar - and they again can be neat reference material.
I will mention that if anyone finds Michelin Guides to any city or country from past years that they usually well worth getting for just the mentioned reference and being a good read in general...

I don't know where to find such old map, I could found ten years old michelin card easy but anything before the mid 1990's is more complicated.

Just wanted to say that I always enjoy these updates. It's been 4 years since I visited Paris and seeing these pictures always reminds me that the cities we visit aren't always the cities that we see when we're traveling.

Visiting a city as a toursit and living inside can be very different.
In Paris the gap between these two things is quite huge.
