Interesting photo. Obviously McKay avenue school, the Leg and the Masonic building are still here. That looks like the Hilltop House on 103 street below the school in this photo.

It's crazy how some parts of this city have turned from Detroit into LA in just 10 years.

The only before and after that disappoints me a bit is Jasper and 101. I would have prefered to see at least a similar sized tower there.

I also hope something bigger and better will eventually be built on Jasper and 101 eventually, but at least something is there and it is not an empty lot like some other prime downtown locations.
