^what did this building look like before? I could only imagine white clad brick with aluminum panel balconies. The building looks great now.
 
I love the dynamics of the conversation between those five buildings, seen from the median on Front Street: the formal symmetry of the EDS building aligned with and framing the Flatiron; the off-kilter symmetry of the two towers of Brookfield Place, with the Royal Bank Plaza tower between them in the distance; the red brick of the Flatiron and the gold of the Royal Bank tower connecting and leapfrogging over the pastel/green colour palette that links EDS with Brookfield; the pointy hat of the Flatiron communing with Brookfield's Canada Trust tower in the distance.
