Hi everyone,

I've got a special request for all you Toronto photographers.
As I mentioned before,
I'm writing a paper about ethnic minorities in Toronto.
I'm presenting this paper to fellow students next week, and I want to create a photo-presentation with powerpoint,
so that photos can illustrate my story about ethnic minorities.
If any of you would post (or email me, pm me to get my adress) pictures that show any of the following subjects,
I'd be very gratefull.
This forum has already been of great help,
as I found two great pics here that I could also use.
Anyway, here's the subjects:

- Poor housing conditions of lower-income class immigrants
- concentration of ethnic minorities (e.g. Chinatown, Indian neighbourhood, Philippino neighbourhood, etc.)
- discrimination against ethnic minorities (e.g. racist graffiti)
- racism and racist acts against minorities
- ethnic entrepreneurship (Chinese stores, Indian stores, Pakistani stores etc.)
- persevation of the 'own' culture, e.g. Chinese architecture, mosques, Hindu temples, Arabian coffee houses,
- pictures of immigrants supporting each other, talking to eachother

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!!

Here's a pic of the condos around the Manulife Centre looking north from Wellesley

Has anyone see the pics of Casa Loma light up a night? It looks like Edinburgh Castle. If you have it, please post it.

Daniel,

Nice pics. How did you get the middle picture? Very cool effect.

Are you realy a girl? If so, a minority on this forum. Welcome.

Thanks for the welcoming, and yes I am a girl (its daniella btw).
I got the pictures from SSC. they were just too good to ignore.

That's Toronto? It looks like New York. The only thing that tipped me off at all was I can recognize the bay at the mouth of the Humber and the condos beyond. Amazing. Where was this taken from?
