It's probably less folksy to have a fax machine than a smartphone these days. Like who uses it other than doctors' office and CRA?

Folks, it was the fault of "the people"...
Doug Ford said he didn't want to scrap his cellphone line, but had to after he got 400 to 500 calls a day, as well as harassing text messages. It was heartbreaking to cancel, he said.

There were less people Doug Ford was "responsible" for when he became Councillor for Ward 2 Etobicoke North (half of 117,601±) in 2014 versus being "responsible" for all the people in Ontario (population 14,000,000+) in 2018. He should have expected much, much, much, much more calls.

Does he have *any* sense of scale?
It's almost like, if one were to transpose him into Nathan Phillips' role in the late 50s, he'd have junked the stodgy first scheme for New City Hall not on behalf of an international competition, but on behalf of the guy who expanded and renovated his house.

Being a city councillor is not the same as being the Premier of our biggest province. He really didn't think it through.

It was the prestige, daddy being a backbencher, he achieved what Saint Rob couldn't. But honestly, he was a terrible city councillor, admonished several times by the Integrity commissioner and sued by the chief of police. Between his shady council career and boorish behaviour, enabling his brother's addiction, would it have been possible this terrible POS could have seen the light and change? Nah.... The Party got what they wanted, a terrible, horrible lying sack of manure who got to the top in an equally shady manner as he is now running this province.
