New mural in Chinatown
Is it anti homeless, it gives them places to duck into and be out of the elements if they put up a lean to?I'm not a fan of this "anti-homeless architecture" masquerading as art.
They're basically heated benches, how is that Anti homeless?I'm not a fan of this "anti-homeless architecture" masquerading as art.
This is also a train station. If they're putting this in a random bench, then sure, but I think we shouldn't just allow our public infrastructure to become a shelter.Because they only spent hundreds of thousands of dollars to create the piece because homeless people were sleeping on the heat exchanger vents that these are sitting on. It is, incontrovertibly, anti-homeless architecture.
This one was restored and moved to 45th StreetI liked the art that was there previously. It was people depicted using the same metal grilll style as the vents on the ground
