Where did you hear this? I can't find any info on this anywhere.

I went to the MaRS location on Monday and they told me it's discontinued. Some stores still have it because of their cup stock.

Not surprised. The Horton's in the states never had xsmall sized coffees.

Am hearing that the Elephant & Castle at the corner of Simcoe and King is closing at the end of the week for "renovations"....also hearing that all of the staff have been fired (rather than laid off) so perhaps it is not coming back as an E&C after the reno's

The other common use for old bank branches is a payday lender, which is a terrible alternative compared to a pub (for many reasons).

They said on Twitter that they will reopen mid-summer.

This is tangential, but does it seem as though no one ever says "we're closing" any more? They just put up a sign claiming they're renovating. Then a few months later there's an entirely different restaurant there.
