Did a drive around the area today.

All traffic intersection traffic lights are now using the new lights and the temporary one are gone except Auckland.

Looks like more paving is about to be place where it wasn't place the last time except Auckland area.

Will say about 85% of sidewalks are in place now

From what I could see, Aukland intersection is the only unfinished one that still lack sidewalks and working traffic lights. The rest are finished including bike lane. Need to look at Dundas/Dunbloor and Kipling/Bloor intersections to make sure.

Once they get the sidewalks and median in for Auckland, they can pave the intersection and the rest of Dundas not pave

They are finally working on the north corner of Aukland and Dundas to get the sidewalk in for that block. They are also doing the sidewalk on both side of the Westward. Still have to build the north-west corner of Aukland and Dundas as well the medians.

Heading to TTC Kipling today, there are no sidewalks on Aukland and for a few weeks. The west sidewalk was being torn out as well saw cutting in the road by the new Kiss & Ride for utilities. No fence up for most of the Hub area.

Don't know if concrete was pour for the 2 east side corners today as it was too dark to see the area while passing it.

When is someone going to come and collect all those utility poles?? A small forest could be saved by reclaiming all those. That one picture is absolutely ridiculous. It's as if every utility company, sign, button, and light was given its own pole and to make things worse they weren't anchored well enough and required guy wires. Crazy.

Sometime this week, Dundas and Aukland intersection will be pave and strip. The road has been plane for the top coat and the 2 missing median island are in place. The temporarily traffic lights have been removed and still waiting for the other hydro poles to be remove.

Both east side corners need a small amount of concrete for the cycle lane. Work taking place on Aukland for the sidewalk for the Westward.

The west side of Aukland sidewalk not only fully rebuilt, but increase is width at the south end of the retaining wall. By the look of things, the entrance for buses for TTC Kipling bus bays will shift to the west to allow better turning into the bus bays.

From my quick drive around Six point, all sidewalks in place.

Photos to follow.

Tonight, Dundas is back to 3 lanes in both direction at Aukland considering it was only a single lane eastbound at 8:30 am today.

Other than 3 areas still waiting for cycles lane, temporary pole to be remove and 2 section of sidewalk to be built, the work is done.

The east side sidewalk on Aukland is 80% completed with the section south of the driveway still to be built.

Should note that Starbucks store closed at Aukland and Dundas on Oct 27th since it saw very little service from day one.

There's a new street named after Toronto sportscaster Jerry Howarth:

One of the proposed names of the street included the late Rob Ford, but fortunately, his name wasn't chosen (he was too controversial, especially when he smoked crack cocaine while serving as mayor and became the laughingstock of the world).

I strongly believe they added Rob Ford to the list just to make sure they had tons of people engaged to vote for any of the other options! No publicity is bad publicity!

You're being too kind. This city put his name on the list, because they genuinely believed it was a good enough option. Nothing more, nothing less.
