I'm sure the neighbours will love this on Labour Day:

But it is OK, because the proceeds will go to a charity, not his camping trip.

Most of these items he is holding are about OMB hearings. I have listened to a lot of council meeting in the last two years and he always holds these. Asks the same few questions. And then votes against it (and loses). What a waste of time.

12 of the 31 items left on the council agenda are being held by Mayor Rob Ford
Rob Ford = waste of time and waste of space. Just saying :)

I'm more interested to see the fallout the school suffers right now. They had this record of unprofessional behaviour, yet they continued to keep him employed. I wonder if the principal will be forced to resign, and if the school itself gets sued by the parents of the players.

Rossi is already moved on to another school. I was looking him up a bit last night. He was moved from one Etobicoke Catholic school to another because apparently the schools all got better after he was there and everyone loved him including the kids. He's some kind of "fixer" I guess. I get the feeling Rossi might have gotten rid of RoFO sooner, but it's not all up to him -- others, boards, parents, etc. I think a lot of the parents might have protected RoFO (for whatever reason) and many just didn't want the bad publicity. After all, it was "bad publicity" (Ford saying the kids are in gangs, the school is rough, etc) that was the final straw and got him canned as coach!

From the TCDSB documents. Why is it that people are so reluctant to intend puns?

FOI p.302 - Ford firing communications plan item #3: "During parent consultations it was communicated that more than half the players will quit the team should Mr. Ford not return as coach."

Talk about Stockholm Syndrome...

Hm..am I wrong in thinking that his DUI should have been reported or is the letter more of a "yeah he's not a big mean deal" kind of thing?

Not in my book. There is a little known practice in some provinces where if a doctor suspects a person has an alcohol problem they write to the MTO. The persons license is suspended WITHOUT ANY EVIDENCE OF DUI. They are notified by mail and have to jump through expensive arbitrary hoops to convince MTO that they are safe drivers. Usually they are expected to remain alcohol free for a year. Recently they got a bump in pay per report. Yeah you read that right. The docs get a bonus for reporting people who have done nothing wrong but drink. No charges, no trial, just sentenced to removal of the licence. I know Ontario and B.C. do this. So how is ford still driving?

Do you guys get the feeling Doug is planning to move to Chicago? Deco's head office is here yet he talked as if he'd be in Chicago after his term was done.
