Wow, I know Olivia needs to highlight her many years of experience at City Hall over Tory, but that kind of Ford-inspired petty rhetoric is not making her look like the adult in the room.

Olivia's piggybacking on Doug's attacks is really off-putting. She's repeated that 'find the elevator' line a couple of times and it's just cringe-worthy.

Last night I received a phone call with a message from Chow. Yes, on a land line. We have it so we can buzz people into our downtown elitist condo courtyard.

She talked about buses and feeding kids. This was followed by the question "Do you plan to vote for Olivia Chow in the upcoming election or someone else?" I paused trying to decide which option to select and the recording came back and said "You've chosen to vote for someone else." I thought, 'yeah...probably." I started out thinking a Chow vote was a no-brained but she has been so underwhelming.

What Tory needs to do is get a tour of City Hall by the real mayor, Norm Kelly, and at the same time get his endorsement.
That would be the ultimate FU to Doug and his band of losers. It would also shut up Chow. I am losing respect for her siding with Doug Ford and ganging up on Tory.

I, too, am really sick of the "whatever Chow does, it's wrong" meme. The fact is that Chow is a decent, hardworking public servant with solid policies and is by far the least full-of-shit person in this race. Those ought to be very big selling points after the last four years and I'm stunned that they're not having the impact they should. It's not about partisanship, it's about not one but two candidates who are coasting on misrepresentations and "I'm a business guy so I know best" empty bluster. Sure, let's all Monday morning quarterback about how nice or not nice Olivia should be instead of talking about this and this.
