So he's calling for a football stadium at Woodbine. Would it make sense to have the Jays and an NFL team play at different venues?
They would have to. Pretty sure the NFL wouldn't allow a mixed use stadium and MLB wouldn't allow artificial turf.

Such an asshat, and as usual, he represents our city so well.

When asked if the city is ready to host the PanAm Games, he turns it into his personal dislike for the HOV lanes. But hey, he's got places to go in his red track suit.

Dude in front of me at McD's rejects your election results!

It's possible to be racist against big red RAM pickups, you know.

So, I just got back from Santa's Village and apparently the ex-mayor admitted to breaking driving laws and a few other things...

He talks a lot about quitting drinking and the issue of gambling addiction in terms of 'self-control' but he has no ability to stop himself breaking the law regarding HOV lanes because hey, he needs to get somewhere and he doesn't like those lanes. So he's 'bobbing and weaving' in and out of them. Careful you don't cause a collision there, Robbie.

As for the Games themselves, I wouldn't be surprised if he doesn't know what he thinks of them. He raved about how much money and how many jobs they'd create at first, then he figured he should make some noise about budget overruns/expense claims for the sake of posturing about fiscal responsibility. He'll probably talk about the games only in terms of how they're inconveniencing him and his self-centred 'needs'.

Maybe Rob Ford will get to put in a Ferris wheel as well at the Woodbine Casino, as the (Don) Cherry on top.

He's a walking example of why you shouldn't use crack nor abuse booze. While Rob was never the sharpest pencil in the box, he is now reduced to acting and speaking like a child. A petulant child.

Thought it was funny that he was talking about addiction being about self control. When he got out of rehab, it was all about his disease. So when it suits him, its a disease, when it doesn't, it's a personality flaw. Not that I'm surprised at his opportunistic use of his addiction.

WTF is the deal with the red track suit? Seriously, does he wear that thing every day now? Does he ever wash it or does he have a whole closet full of them? Has he become a Beastie Boy? Is it cuz cancer? Is it some type of endorsement deal? What ever happened to having to wear a suit & tie every day cuz respect for taxpayers?

Like most things that come up here, I realize these sound like funny questions but I'm seriously curious about all this.

The answer is: because he's Rob Ford. There is no rhyme or reason. He does and says whatever suits him at the moment. No consistency. No moral fibre. No rules, unless they're Rob's Rules.

The Gardiner is just like St. Clair, it was most expedient for BOTH Dougie and Robbie to complain about the ROW if it gets them air time. The Flagg Nation are all over Tory for the Pan Am situations, IMO it just seems a push at "Liberals" (of which Tory is not) in hopes to win the next prov. and municipal elections.

I think he is going for the red jumpsuit to hide blood spatter.

However, the "report card" from Robbie is just crap. Robbie speaks of a year of his reign and I agree with him, Tory has easily handled the same amount of things in 6 months Robbie did in a year. In the end Robbie succeeded in only promoting himself and his family, and not Toronto or it's needs.
