Didn't we already know this? It wasn't huge news but didn't he say he was in hospital for a few days and we tried to piece together if it was true or not based on Instagram photos?

Probably. I missed it, either way. But all I'm saying is that if the infection is a lingering issue, it could be what Doug is referring to. That would pretty much prove a sympathy-play strategy as opposed to real news.

In a way, I wouldn't be surprised if Renata was escorting when Rob first hooked up with her.

And also taking "Princess" Basso into account, it's probably also a safe bet that he's never had anything but "cold escort sex"--and really, doesn't know any different. (Probably also explains why CAS might have found him the more "responsible" parent--at least insofar as his inner 10-year-old makes him seek to be the perfect indulgent Santy Claus type of daddy.)

And re Doug's ball-biting remarks: sounds to me like what some have suggested about RoFo's rant video--just a lot of faux-professional-wrestling "tough talk". Though from him in this context, it sounds like his son-in-law looks: rather macabre and grotesque...

Re Ford's "setback". A few people on my fb feed reported seeing him at Princess Margaret a few days (or a week?) ago. I guess Doug is dropping the vague setback news to time with the books. No way to make his quote re his teeth on Tory's testicles any more paletable, though....

Ford has not been seen at his city hall office for several days, and the councillor’s Twitter feed has lain dormant since last week. His last post, issued on October 22, advertised a new round of memorabilia that Ford had posted to eBay.

Interesting article. I had a moment though, looking at the second picture in the article, where Ford and Harper are leaving the rally. Third guy on the right. Thought it was Lisi for a second. But no way they would have let him in to that rally.
