If it is for the movie, it might be the one of the first times a Toronto streetcar has appeared in a movie without its appearance being an accident. Short Circuit 2, anyone?

There was a brief scene set on Queen East in the film Traitor from last year that included a prominent shot of an ARLV.

yes, Last Night is an excellent, and i thought, the most famous example.

from the looks of the daily photoblog, mr wright and company are making a huge effort to make this film as toronto as possible.

our friends at torontoist tried snapping some pictures of the film set on queen with mixed results.

looks like they're doing some second cup scenes! if anybody wants to go and check it out, now's the time.

the rock-it used to be a rock club/bar on queen east a few years ago. o'malley's band played there in real life. i'm not sure what's become of it now.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't the Rockit on Church at Richmond? It's the Spring Rolls "go" restaurant now, I believe.

It was actually upstairs from where Spring Rolls is. It's now Goodhandy's, a pansexual bar/sex club. They have live sex shows and porn shoots in there now.

I get the feeling Torontovibe lives a much more interesting life than I do. ;)
