I manage Condos for a living.

Condo Insurance policies do not usually cover private property owned by anyone else than the Condo Corporation. Owners, Tenants and Contractors are expected to have their own insurance.

If a flood occurs, there is usually documentation either in the Declaration or Standard Unit Definition which covers who pays for what when an incident occurs. If there is a flood in the parking garage, the expectation is that you will have insurance for your vehicle in the same way you would have insurance for your house.

would be covered in the very unlikely event of a flood that damaged my car on P2 of a 4 floor parking garage.
