Condo Insurance policies do not usually cover private property owned by anyone else than the Condo Corporation. Owners, Tenants and Contractors are expected to have their own insurance.
If a flood occurs, there is usually documentation either in the Declaration or Standard Unit Definition which covers who pays for what when an incident occurs. If there is a flood in the parking garage, the expectation is that you will have insurance for your vehicle in the same way you would have insurance for your house.
