I've finally figured out how to lay this out. I'll build block by block instead of laying out everything all at once (with a map),
My goal is to build the financial district, and add (if i have time) from there. By building block by block, it's much more flexible because you're not tied down to a grid and you can build as you please.
version 2.0 will be more accurate than the first model,

The scale is just slightly larger 2.5cm:50m compared to 2.25cm:50m.

The TD Centre is the where i will start, and everything else will be based around this scale. The second block to build is Commerce Court, and, once that is wrapped up, i will proceed to build the other 2 sides of King/Bay.

time will tell whether this thing will get built lol,

*This block is still missing 2 buildings as well as some minor details,

mmm.... not sure if it's the aquarium you're referring to, (it's a hack version as well.... 360 renders were never released)

Alright, here are some pics from a week or so ago, nothing much has been built since then aside from the layout blocks for the north-east and north-west corners of Bay/King.

*1 King west and Commerce Court north need fixing and/or details, Commerce Court north's roof is messed up, and is way too fat, and 1 King is messed up too and needs the texture detailing,

Just a quick update, the old Bank of Nova Scotia building block is coming along... That big hole is reserved for the big one, Scotia Plaza... I really want to build Trump right now, but i will save that until a later time, since (the real thing) is still under construction and things could always change...

haha! yep... I just finished the buildings on the Yonge/King/Bay/Adelaide block except for Scotia Plaza and Trump Tower!
eager to build both.... Scotia will be challenging with it's complex geometry/little setbacks, and Trump will be tough with all the details...

Update August 4, 2011:

The Standard Life Centre was built along the base of the Royal York Hotel and another building was added to the FCP podium.

I'm thinking the Bay Adelaide Centre will be next, just because I know Scotia Plaza and Trump tower will take a while.... but i'll get to it soon,

vs. (i just realized how completely screwed up the angle.... oh well)
